CHAPTER THREE

ELSIE PUSHED THE door shut quietly behind her as she tip-toed softly into their bedroom. Cole was in the en-suite still, she could hear him moving around and see his shadow shifting.

He had dimmed all the lights down and set the colours to a deep shade of red using the app on their tablet. There were candles in here too, small tea lights shimmering as she moved around.

He was going to a lot of effort to make her feel comfortable and relaxed, and she loved it.

She glanced over at the side table and paled, her stomach filling with butterflies as she saw what stood there. She closed her eyes and looked away as her lips dried out. Then she buried her face in the palms of her hands in embarrassment and squirmed.

It was so naughty.

So rude.

She couldn't believe they were going to try it.

It was rather exciting though.

She lay down on the bed, looking sideways towards the window. Then after a moment she looked back at the side table again, peering between her fingers and trying not to laugh.

‘Are you ready?’ said Cole, from behind the door of the en-suite.

‘Almost,’ she said.

She wanted to lay seductively for him, but wasn't quite sure how one was supposed to do so. She lay across the bed, one arm propping up her head, the other draped gently across her thigh, but when her fingers started to absentmindedly twirl her hair she felt self-conscious and somewhat like a teenager so she sat upright stifling another laugh.

After a little more wriggling around she settled for laying on her front, looking back towards the bathroom. She felt vulnerable like this, but she was going to feel vulnerable throughout the whole evening anyway, so she might as well start as she meant to go on.

She took a deep breath and smiled to herself.

She trusted Cole.

He wouldn't hurt her, he would take it slow, he would be gentle and kind and he would listen. She had married him for all of these reasons, and as much as she was hesitant about what they were going to do, she wanted to try.

‘Ok,’ she said, quietly. ‘I'm ready.’

The light in the bathroom went out and a moment later the door opened.

In the deep red gloom, Elsie could just make out the handsome features of her husband.

Her stomach was in knots. On an emotional scale, she was somewhere between stifling the urge the flee and demanding her husband fuck her ass right now, right here and to stop dicking around with all this foreplay. She watched as he moved slowly towards her, still dressed in his suit. She realised that he was fresh, he must have showered and shaved and neatened himself up as she’d bathed.

He smelt amazing and looked incredible.

He stood next to her now, and she reached out and took his hand in hers, pulling her up to a sitting position as he knelt down in front of her and kissed her. She suddenly felt small and vulnerable before him, but there was a big part of her that liked it.
